From the creative minds of two love struck artists David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim emerge the Uglydoll family! What started as a drawing of a playful orange personality often called Wage has turned into an entire new world of fun! In 2001, when David's soon to be spouse and inventive companion Sun-Min needed to return to Korea, he sent her many "I pass over you" letters together with hellos little Wage personality drawn at the bottom.

Sun-Min sewed Wage into an opulent doll and despatched hellom to David as a surprise reward. David requested Sun-Min to stitch a pair more for the Giant Robot store in Los Angeles they usually sold out in one day! A very excited Sun-Min sewed many extra and people offered just as fast!
